NBC’s Banned Songs

Apparently, the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has reportedly banned 25 local and foreign famous songs for containing obscene lyrics and visuals. Artistes ‘affected’ include Davido, D’banj, Olamide, Timaya, Wizkid, Skukin Olu Maintain, Phyno, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus, 2Chainz to mention a few. A circular has reportedly been issued to media houses to its effect.

List of banned songs are as follows:

Davido has more to Celebrate

The music artiste has a lot to ba happy about this week as reports reveal that the editors at Y! announced the award winning hit artiste, producer  and label boss, Davido (real name David Adeleke) as the first ever  editor-at-large for its cool new brand, Teen Y!

He also just turned 21! and he celebrated by giving to the less privileged.
